i feel like shane and leah could be good friends? like when shane just moved in leah confronted him and was like "hey neighbor :D how u doin? :D" but shane was like ":/" so it didn't really work out. but then when he started getting better he remembered about that encounter and came to apologize and they ended up becoming buddies!

here's another quality headcanon! so haley goes to the river to takes photos, right? when leah notices she obviously greets her cause they're neighbors and leah is a sunshine. but haley doesn't exactly take her seriously and dismissed her. every time she comes to the river tho she hears weird noises coming from leah's cottage and gets curious and, making sure nobody can see her, looks inside through a window. and what she sees is leah working on her sculptures! and seeing how hard she works, how runs from one corner of the house to another trying to find inspiration, all of it makes haley feel... something. she's not sure what it is tho! but next time she's there she, very hesitantly, asks leah to pose for her photos, probably saying that it's for a new idea she's trying out. but really it's just an excuse to look at her and talk to her.
