CHIMPANZEE Pan troglodytes ©Laura Quick Spent some time with the chimps on Saturday after our LA Docent midterm. I find them fascinating, very anthropoid, and their aggression a little scary. Maybe it was growing up in the Planet of the Apes era, not sure. It was snack time while we were with them at the Zoo and the keeper, Amy, was talking us through the troop dynamics while throwing various vegetables to all the troop members. This one was one of my favorites as well.
