TikTok drama is honestly some of the most fascinating shit. Nothing makes me feel more like a complete alien listening to news from another planet like TikTok drama.

I am *never* going to be over 100% Gratitude. I am *never* going to be over Reigen Arataka, who knows by now spirits are real, espers are real, that Mob is probably the strongest esper in the country and almost certainly the strongest in the compound-

That he knows that, that he looks at Mob, and he doesn't say "I know you can do this" or "you can win" or "you're the strongest". He doesn't say "I'll fight with you" or even "i'll fight for you".

He says, "It's okay to run away."

Reigen knows Mob. He knows Mob is a pacifist to the core, that he would never ask for this fight, that he's been backed into a corner. He spent years teaching Mob how not to hurt people. He doesn't see The Strongest Psychic, the ???% Monster, a powerful person - he sees a child. And he tells this child "this is between adults and the responsibility of adults. This is not your burden to bear."

And then, when Mob watches his teacher get cut down, we don't get a standard shonen explosion - we get Reigen, empowered by Mob's soul-deep relief, protecting this kid from this burden and hardship, as he did and wished to do even before he bore the tiniest scrap of psychic power.

Watching this fascinating youtube video on friendships and facial expressions, and it's making me realize and be more aware of the energy people have and how it affects me.

Ambivalence is murder and should be cut ties with. It's worse than toxicity.

Facial expression and body language are important aspects to be aware of in every conversation, especially sensitive topics.

Lmao at this point I'd rather spend time alone and focus on myself, instead of crying of being lonely. Cultivate on those who actually care for me, including myself.

There is an affection there and they’re always the last two to go to bed. So to make sure they’ve got things done they just have a little catch-up on the day at the end of each day, which is sweet. You do see them let their defences down a little bit in these moments, but they always call each other by their surname - it’s Mr Carson, Mrs Hughes and Mrs Patmore. There is a gentle understanding of people growing old together.
