One of the valuable life lessons tailoring has taught me is: Patience ooh patience! 🤣 You don’t want to know how frustrating it can be trying to correct those mistakes or when your machine suddenly decides to work against you. _____ I remember one time I was confidently sewing rubbish, thinking I was making a masterpiece 🤣 only for me to finish and realize that I’ve been making the wrong side of the cloth. So I had to start everything afresh! 🙆🏽♀️ Chai! 😭 _______ Or was it the time I fixed a zipper the wrong way? 🤦🏽♀️ _______ In fact, I’ve lost count of my frustrating moments on the machine. _______ The funny or should I say annoying thing here is that, my machine lets me do all these work without giving me issues so I can at least retrace my steps and correct my mistakes on time 😒 buh just when I’m getting it right, the thing will start having “sikosiko” like something they sent from my village 🙄 ________ Tip: Don’t try to rush your sewing. Your machine sees all these things and starts acting jealous because it wants you all to itself 🙄and won’t hesitate to frustrate the life out of you. What an insecure thing!! 🤨 Whenever you start getting frustrated, it’s best to leave your duty post and go cool off for a while. You would deal with that situation better and with a clearer head by the time you get back. Don’t coman go and kee yourself 😁 _______ All these has made me realize that good things do take time and that sometimes, things don’t turn out the way we want. Accept the fact that things can turn out differently than you wanted. Positively or negatively.
