☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️ cherik, bc i want to hear someone ranting about them
OH SHOOT here we go!!
Cherik is at the same time the most tragic love story ever told and a beautiful story of two people who, despite their differences in opinions, still love each other very much, despite everything that has happened between them.
Erik and Charles hurt each other. They hurt each other so damn much and still, every damn time, they are there for each other when they are needed. Their love is not fluff and rainbows but roses with thorns and long distances and hurtful words and deeds that are never forgotten.
Charles and Erik are soulmates, but I think at times they curse the fact. They cannot help being in love each other even though it hurts too much. Their opinions on humans as well as myriad other things differ so much that they cannot stand each other but they cannot stay away either.
Playing chess is their form of saying things they cannot say out loud. Each move brings them more towards each other. When they’re playing, Erik’s mind calms down and Charles let’s his guard down.
They know each other’s flaws and imperfections.
They’re each other’s weakness.
After many decades of fighting each other, Erik offers Charles a home with him.
>> send me a ☕️ and a topic and I’ll talk about how I feel about it.
