oh my gosh hahah. that’s way more interesting than my dad’s stories… actually once when he was really little he was staying in a room with mosquito netting around the bed and all of a sudden a bat fell onto the netting and everyone screamed

OMG... my dad doesnt have any bat related stories sadly but hes always talking about how tropical birds harassed him constantly

i love hearing my parents’ stories about puerto rico because they’re so different… my mom talks about spending her summers working at the capitol with her mom and my dad talks about how he would stay in el campo and throw cats from the roof

holy shit thats an interesting dad story. my dads dad was the local doctor and some people he treated couldnt pay in money so instead theyd give him these massive barrels of homemade peanut butter and my dad vividly remembers having to try and get through the 3 inch thick oil on top of the barrel every morning
