DAY 3
Didn't practise on the 2nd because it was Kemin's last day :( I had lieder training in the morning/afternoon and then met up with family for lunch AND dinner. Between the two meals were a few hours that I had to do work for at home on the computer...
Anyway, today after getting home at 11 and eating dinner, I managed to sneak in maybe 45 minutes of the excerpts for tomorrow. Even if wasn't too much, I need to remember THIS to ace Brahms 1 (c)!!!:
USE RIGHT FOREARM TO CONTROL FAST 16th NOTES! no funny business with the fingers to change the bow, it won't be clear, it won't be precise, it just won't work. forearm (firm wrist) will ensure that the bow contact is locking on the string, and that the direction won't go bazonkers when fingers are involved
