[Update] Dashboard improvements

The long awaited feature has arrived - Dashboard improvements.

Dashboard has no limit in max posts count (previously 300). And you can browse it by post type such as photo, video.

Liked Posts improved as well. It supports for 'Jump to Past Posts by Date' and removes max posts count limit (of 1000). It applies to both 'liked posts by current user (in user menu)' and 'liked posts by the any blog (in blog info)'.

And several updates, bug fixes and performance tweaks.

[Update] App icon change only

This update contains only a small change to app icon. We receive a reply from Tumblr Brand Protection to remove Tumblr's 't' trademark totally from our app icon. There's no other significant feature update included in this release.

[Update] Focused on stability and performance

This is a minor update focused on improving stability and performance. Since last flexible grid update, there're increasing instability issues. We have fixed several bugs and fine-tuned internal performance.

Additionally, we add a convenience helper to 'All Photos' grid option. When changing all photos option, it will also reset 'Footer' option to corresponding default state, Footer on for all photos off, footer off for all photo on. (Because the combination of footer on and all photos on does not look good in general.)

[Update] Flexible Grid Layout

Flexible grid layout, one of the main feature of version 3, is applied to FastFeed T2 app. And specially for FastFeed T2 app, grid mode can display all photos in feed. This new option, named ’All Photos’, is located at tab menu, left of grid footer option. Here’s some tips:

iPhone and iPad version differs slightly. On iPad, it’s fully flexible. But on iPhone, it’s fully flexible only when grid footer hidden. Grid footer text make it hard to look tidy on small screen of iPhone.

‘All Photos’ setting offers separate options for user feed and general type feed. This is same as 'Grid Footer’ option.

With the option of 'All Photos’ on and 'Footer’ off, you can enjoy the most beautiful grid of your favorite photos.

The option of 'All photos’ off and 'Footer’ on is nearly same as previous grid look. If you want a tidy look on iPhone, use this option.

Additionally,

You can like/reblog on fullscreen/slide mode. Tap on fullscreen image will show like/reblog button. Reblog button also supports 'Hold Gesture to Select Reblog’.

Slideshow’s max interval is increased slightly.

Separate 'Save Images’ menu in post view menu supports animated gif too. This menu will remove the limitation of max 5 saving in 'Share All images-> Save Images’.

[Announce] App Name Change, Restriction on T1 app

Unfortunately, there is a legal issue in our ‘FastFeed for Tumblr’ app. We have to change app name and logo, removing the word  'Tumblr’ and its trademark. Our App name will be re-named to FastFeed T ( T1 and T2 respectively). Corresponding changes will be included in next update.

Because of this issue, we have to update T1 app once more. But we can not manage advertisement modules in T1 app anymore. So, we have no choice but to limit free usage in T1 app. T1 app is kept on App Store only for in-app purchase owner and its migration to T2 app. If you own 'Ad Remove’ in-app purchase, there’s no limitation. But if not own, you can not browse feeds anymore in T1 app. In this case, you should move to T2 app or don’t update T1 app to newer version.We expect this update available less than a week 1~2 days.

Tumblrアプリを公式アプリから変更してみました。

なんか見た感じもしっくりしてるので結構いい感じ。

ただ、

・画像が画面よりも大きく表示されるので全体が見難い場合がある（横画像を横画面で見る場合など）

・スクロールが速いと動画プラグインの表示がバグる

・動画はSafariが起動（※連携動画サイトにもよるかも？）

ってのが、イマイチな点かな？

でも、タブで表示が分けれたりするのは便利。

ユニバーサルアプリなのでiPad、iPhoneともに使用しています。
