Scammer jailed - not here What is even sadder is that the big boys, the serial scammers like Stephen Ward, James Hadley, Phillip Nunn and Patrick McCreesh are still allowed to roam free despite their numerous scams being under investigation by the SFO for some years now. It would make our year if we could write “Stephen Ward – SERIAL SCAMMER JAILED”. However, at least we can confirm that Ward was banned from being a pension trustee at the end of 2018. So I guess the SFO is doing something – however small. Thousands of victims and hundreds of thousands of pounds’ worth of pension money has been fraudulently taken from the victims of scam schemes sold by the above-named scammers. Thousands of victims and hundreds of thousands of pounds’ worth of pension money has been fraudulently taken from the victims of scam schemes sold by the above-named scammers. Schemes like Capita Oak, Blackmore Global Fund and the Trafalgar Multi Asset Fund. In fact, the CEO of STM Gibraltar (the facilitators of the Trafalgar QROPS scam), Alan Kentish was recently released without charge after his arrest, and was fully backed by the STM board. Despite clear evidence of the part he played in the now suspended – £20 million – Trafalgar QROPS pension scam, which he facilitated with James Hadley. AND to rub salt into the wounds of the Trafalgar victims, STM group went on to announce record profits in 2017 and to announce they will be offering SIPPS products as well. Scammer jailed ? ? ? – not here I´m afraid! All we can do is make a very loud suggestion that STM Group Gibraltar – STM Fidecs – Alan Kentish – should all be given a VERY wide berth when considering a change of pension trustee – as from past evidence they are not to be trusted! Scammer jailed – hip hip hooray! – scammer jailed What a great start to the new year. Neil Bartlett, 53, of Delamere Road, Ainsdale, used £4.5m of his victims’ money to fund an extravagant lifestyle of foreign travel, top hotels and gambling. Bartlett was handed an eight year sentence for his involvement in the multi-million pound investment fraud dating back from 2013. He scammed 27 victims out of a collective sum of £4.5 million, some of which had been his childhood friends. He didn´t stop there, he also took power of attorney for a vulnerable elderly victim and defrauded her as well! As is the case with many scams, the victims are unlikely to recoup any of the funds they entrusted to him. Bartlett is said to have spent the hard-earned funds on prostitutes, escorts and expensive holidays. The victims, all of whom knew him on a personal level, are disgusted at his behaviour and were glad to see this scammer jailed. APRIL 13, 2018 FAST PENSIONS TO DIE A SLOW DEATH Fast Pensions, run by Peter and Sara Moat, is finally to be wound up. There will be a hearing at the High Court in Manchester on 30th May 2018. The winding-up petition also includes the 15 pension schemes run by the Moats, FP Scheme Trustees and four loan companies. This follows a special measure by the Insolvency Service at a hearing on 29th March. The Official Receiver is the interim liquidator – meaning that it is responsible for investigating the affairs of the companies – including third party or trust monies. The OR is also tasked with protecting whatever (if anything) is left of the schemes’ assets. Most of these 15 schemes involved some form of pension liberation operated through the Moats’ loan companies: Blu Debt Management, Blu Financial Services, Blu Personal Finance, and Umbrella Loans. AUGUST 18, 2017 BRIDGEBANK CAPITAL FAST PENSION SCAM LOANS “SATISFIED” The Fast Pensions Scam funds were discovered in Bridgebank Capital Laurence Goodman and the three wishes: please make 37 Fast Pensions Scam loans disappear JUST LIKE THAT! Bridgebank Capital’s Laurence Badman Goodman has made 37 Fast Pensions Scam loans disappear as if by magic – while he was on holiday and too busy to engage with Pension Life or the distraught victims of Peter and Sara Moat. Having discovered this was where some or all of the elusive Fast Pensions Scam funds were hiding, we all hoped this might finally result in some of the 18 Pensions Ombudsman’s determinations to allow victims to transfer out being complied with. We all wanted to believe that Goodman was a good man, but now it would seem the opposite might be the case. So, one of the following is true: All the borrowers of the 37 loans have simultaneously repaid their loans on 17th August 2017 The loans have been sold or transferred on to somewhere we can find them (yet) Sara Moat had been claiming that Fast Pensions was merely the administrator of the pension schemes, and that it was ultimately the “responsibility of the trustees to decide whether the transfers could be made”. Of course, the Companies House records showed that the Bridgebank Capital loans were made in favour of Sara Moat as trustee (along with another stooge called Martin Peacock). This scuppered Sara Moat’s excuse and exposed her as a liar once again. AUGUST 15, 2017 BRIDGEBANK CAPITAL AND THE FAST PENSION SCAM We know Fast Pensions is a scam - but is Bridgebank Capital No. 5 kosher? Frantic with worry – the Fast Pensions victims now know their pension funds are being used for property loans. Bridgebank Capital seems to be a bona fide property loan company – providing bridging and development finance. Nothing wrong with that. But Bridgebank Capital No. 5 seems to be full of Fast Pensions money and locked into term loans secured on a variety of domestic and commercial properties. Each charge refers to the trustees of four of the Fast Pensions schemes: DM1, FP1, EP1 and Leafield. The trustees of each of these schemes are clearly identified at Companies House as Sara Moat and Martin Peacock. (Interestingly, Sara Moat is telling victims that “the trustees” have to decide what happens to the pension monies – while hiding the fact that she is the trustee).
