HOOKED ON A FEEEEELIN’

All I can really say is THANK YOU to my 100+ followers for showing an interest in this blog.  It’s been one week exactly since I started writing for Rocket, and it’s always daunting to enter a fandom you’ve admired from the outskirts for years but never been a part of.  Thank you to everyone for being so welcoming.

“Lemme guess, you are one of the dudes from space aren’t you?” He wasn’t entirely sure what gave it away, it wasn’t necessarily his appearance but more of the attitude that he some how radiated. “Please tell me you are at least one of the good guys.” It was getting harder and harder to tell them all apart these days if he was being entirely honest. Though considering he wasn’t immediately trying to fight Rhodey, it was probably safe to assume he was a good guy.

Neither of them had the packs Peter usually insisted they wore, neither has the ability to actually FLY .. and there was NO way Gamora was going to throw Drax. “Just try to aim when you throw. Compassion floods young hero as he listens intently to the alien.  He doesn’t expect such softness from the alien, he’s always seemed hard and unfriendly.  It’s a nice thing to see, to hear, to observe as he nods slightly.  A small smile spreads to his lips, it’s nice.  He tilts his head, doe irises examining the other for a moment.  “ That’s really nice, Drax. “

He feels sick to his stomach, his heart races in his chest as he wanders around the dust and the rubble.  He pauses, his mind racing with an explanation as to why this could all have happened.  He should’ve been there.  He should’ve helped.  He would’ve been able to save them.  His teeth grit against each other and bitter tears fall to the ground as he ignores the dust and the cuts on his face.  “ It’s my fault.  I-I should’ve been here. “
