At least she’d opted for a long coat and thick black pants instead of her usual skirts, right? She’d had an inkling of bad luck heading her way, so she’d made a slight attempt to combat it. She didn’t blame Steve at all as she followed him closely, slipping into the makeshift shelter. “It could have ended up far worse for us, I’m glad we weren’t separated.” She replied, taking a deep breath.
“There is that.” Steve smiled as he ducked in behind her and pulled it closed. The shelter was small, just enough room for the pair of them to sit side by side, but with the parachutes and the kit bags pulled in close around them it was a warm enough space to try and wait out the storm. He sat down and wiggled himself comfortable. “It’s few more hours until daylight and lets hope the storm lifts up by then. Do you want to try and sleep? I can stay awake and keep an eye on things.”
