Steve and Clint duh

send me a pairing and I’ll tell you who:

falls asleep on the couch: Clint again. However, that doesn’t mean Steve hasn’t before XD

makes friends with the neighbors: Both of them try to. While it is difficult for them to do it, they are able to become friends with a few of them.

is the adventurous eater: Steve. Again, Clint would always chose pizza. Or BBQ.

hogs the covers at night: Steve. Clint doesn’t argue about it either-- after being frozen, he can’t argue with the other wanting as many blankets as he wants.

forgets to do the dishes: Clint forgets. Steve has mentioned for him to do dishes before, but ends up forgetting again.

tries to surprise their partner more often: Steve does, surprisingly enough. Clint always tells him that he doesn’t have to but Steve does anyways.

leaves dirty laundry on the floor: Clint does. However, he is starting to drag Steve into the bad habit.

stays up til 2 AM reading: Steve does. He has a lot of catching up to do and reading is something that is still the same as it was before.

sings in the shower: Clint does. Who cares if he can’t hear it-- he’ll sing it louder.

takes the selfies: Neither are for selfies, but Clint is more likely to than Steve.

plans date night: They both try to, however it is hard for either to come up with an idea-- so they end up giving in and asking each other for ideas and plan it together.

“Then skip the meeting and stay here.” Steve panted a bit,

resting his forehead against his husband’s for a moment before he was ducking his head down and pressing kisses up and down Clint’s neck instead. “I can think of another way to spend our time.” He purred between kisses, backing the male up against the wall.

“And people say you are good for me.” Clint teased back, holding back a moan as Steve’s lips ran against a sensitive part along his throat. The bowman’s hand rests against Steve’s shoulder, almost holding him there instead of pushing away. “Fury will be pissed if I miss another one.” He commented, though the ex-assassin was making a very compelling argument.

“What do you want me to do then?” Steve snaps at Clint, resisting the urge to throw the tv remote across the room. Of course he’s not okay but he doesn’t want anyone to know that. He hates being the way he is but he couldn’t help how his mind was still so fucked up that he wakes up covered in sweat with no clue where he was until he calmed down. And he swears he could still hear people he has killed begging for their lives.

Clint saw the anger rushing through the man. He himself  had hit his limit of pretending. He knew that Steve was  slowly driving himself away with regrets and he didn’t want that. “Talk to me! Do something other than pretend. I can’t  stand it when you pretend!” He snapped back, unable to stop  his own agitation from showing. “I am here aren’t I? I haven’t  run away and I don’t plan to so don’t push me away. I won't be  able to handle being pushed away by someone I love again.”

Upsy Daisy

It’d been days since James had gotten locked up inside Hydra’s base. They threw every kind of torture that they could’ve in his direction to the point where he couldn’t even stand anymore. His cover was blown. Even worse he was scared he’d never see Steve again. There was no way to contact the man. No way to scream for help. So he just stayed on his cell floor, weak and shaking. Hydra knew just how to tear him apart.

What he wasn’t expecting was hands scooping him up. So rough but so familiar he didn’t even need to open his eyes to see who it was. Instinctively, his body shifted inward towards the warmth of the body heat. Safe. “You came for me,” he murmured weakly. Honestly he didn’t think Steve would realize in time what was happening.
