today i was walking back from my friend’s apartment and it was raining and there was a worm on the sidewalk and I thought to myself “what a fat worm. I wonder where he’s going” so i stopped walking to watch this fat little worm wriggle around on the sidewalk while the rain soaked through my clothes. I accomplished nothing, I learned nothing, and the worm moved like three inches total in the span of fifteen minutes. By all means, the whole ordeal was entirely unproductive.

and yet, it was the best thing i’ve done all week.
