My Danny Phantom AU's (Danny Fenton)

Sorry this took so long! I kinda forgot to finish up sharing my AU’s with Danny in them before. But hey, better late than never!

I guess we might as well start at the very beginning with the Danny from my fanfics “Nowhere To Run” and the sequel “Turning Point.” The idea here like in many of my fanfics was to find some way to believably redeem Vlad when he realizes how much Danny means to him...

So when Danny is faced with a threat even he can’t face alone, it’s up to Vlad to save him. After that, well, without spoiling too much it’s basically the second final showdown with Dan we never got. With that in mind I suppose you could call this a Dan Rematch AU.

Then of course we have my beloved Danny Program AU which was born when I woke up one morning and wondered, if Vlad had a Maddie and Jack program, then why not a Danny one as a perfect son simulator? And now that story has been fully realized in my current fanfic “Ghost In The Machine” based on a wonderful snippet originally written by @dp-marvel94​!

Next up we have my upcoming Unseelie Vlad AU where Danny and the others live in a medieval village surrounded by a dark forest ruled by the Fae, and sadly he ends up drawing the attention of the Unseelie Court’s King, Vladislav, when he was a child who will stop at nothing to make Danny a Fae prince in his court.

These are my genderbent versions of Danny in my fanfics “Lost Soul,” “Haunted Soul” and an upcoming fanfic called “Final Epitaph.” Long story short, these are all stories where Vlad realizes she genuinely needs his help so Vlad steps in to help, seeing her as a daughter and makes the smart decision not to alienate her like he did with the normal Danny in the show. As a result, she came to trust him and even relied on Vlad a couple times when things got a little too hard for her to handle alone.

And last but not least, I have a Fatal Frame crossover planned for the future so while this is technically not an AU per-say, I’m adding it anyway! All I remember is that I had this cool idea about bandages turning into film reels so I’m sure I’ll be able to come up with the rest of the story concept later on.

Thanks for voting on which crossover drawing to redo first you guys! I took down the polls once there was a clear winner and I thankfully didn’t have to change too much of the camera hud, this mostly just needed my own drawing of Danny and some fixes with the text and other small details. I’ll redo the other drawing once I’m in another Fatal Frame mood, but for now this one looks so much better! Especially since this time I didn’t use a screenshot from the show’s intro. You all know the one since it’s a popular frame to redraw...

Thankfully I didn’t need to make many changes with this updated drawing. Mostly I just needed to adjust the contrast and add some other small touches. But yeah, maybe someday I’ll try to write a crossover with Danny Phantom and the Fatal Frame series. And if you can’t already tell, the second game is my favorite with the crimson butterflies!

Seriously how often did I forget the outlines and ghost aura with some of these!? I can tell I was still figuring out the style but damn to miss something so obvious makes me feel like a dingus lolz...

Ok, I seriously need to try to get some sleep after this...stupid stress. Anyways this took a lot longer to make than it seems and while not a true version of the Camera Obscura since I didn't make it as intricately designed and used Viking runes instead of Japanese kanji it turned out ok. I was going to draw Danny myself too but since the camera took so long I just made some edits to a screenshot I took and went from there. So just think of this as more concept art...
