Entrepreneurial Design: Valuable lesson learned from this class.
.self-reflection exercise
This is me when i was 8th grade. Reason that I chose this photo is because the most valuable lesson I learned through this class is to really push myself outside the comfort zone. And to believe in the project that I’m working on and my partners. To learn and to be inspire from people around me. To really just do it.
I was fat for few years when I was young. My nick name was Fat Chen. I was very sensitive about it but I didn’t bother to face the problem. My mom will feed me whenever I am hungry ( and I happened to be always hungry). Until i was 8th grade, my middle school has a health program for overweight students. I refused to join the program because I thought it was embarrassing, and I was afraid of facing the challenges. But then I did. I faced my problem and lost the weight.
This goes to the same with the entrepreneur class for me. I am never conformable blogging and reaching out to people or asking help from others. But because of entrepreneur, I forced myself to blog more, reaching out to people, asking for feedback, and to not be afraid of embarrassing or failure. I felt lucky that Sam and I work well together. I learned a lot from him through our project. It made me understand and believe that having a good design without a strong story telling or content to audience, it hard to create a strong community. Stepping out of my comfort zone was a challenge, and i am sure it goes the same with everyone in the class. but i grow, build up, and establish so much from it.
