As now, I am focusing on the area of connectivity between the cyclists and drivers. It's not only cyclists responsibility to aware others during their ride, drivers are also responsible to aware cyclist on the road.
We were brain storming on one of the main incident for cyclist in the city.
" THE DOOR..." Jeff and I both experienced hitting the car door before, it was painful!
Jeff wishes there could be a better awareness for cyclist in the outside environment for such an incident.
If there is a way to connect driver/passengers with cyclists, and it provides notification system for each users before any action.

What would you like your next prototype to achieve?
Research more information of how the legal rights for cyclists protection. Interview Local cyclist community that are fighting to improve and protect the rights for bike riders.
Low-Fi Alternate Prototype:
For my low-fi prototype this week, I focused on another direction for my thesis. One of the insight from my researches is that
“cyclist wish they are not alone when there is accident”.
Many of my interviewers and myself had experience bike incidents in NY. Only 1 out of 10 cyclists were reported and wished to know how to handle the situation better during the incidents.
So my prototype is an mobile apps that allows cyclist to view other cyclists in their area and the live traffic data on the app. The main feature is when a cyclist got in to an incident, other’s cyclist within the area will get notification of the incidents which encouraged cyclists to support each other.
And the incident will be reported automatically to local emergency authority. The app also provides steps of information what cyclist should do do protect their rights when there’s incident.
