I think we don't talk enough about Gilgamesh's love for water. I mean, it's not mentioned too often either, but Gil loves water or any activities involving water, like, the dude owns a freaking water park facility and calls it "the paradise of water":

Like, you can see how happy he gets as he talks about it or how grumpy he gets when he doesn't have a proper place to swim:

And water is not only just fun thing for him but also something that brings him tranquility and helps him to relax:

And he loves fishing too:

And even in FSF he remembers the moment from FHA when he was fishing with Cu and Emiya:

(Also I don't know if that "splash" is reference to the sound or the name of his water park either way it's still cool)

So yeah, I can perfectly see him having fun on water slides or while playing water gun fight but also find solace and tranquility by just simply listening to water or/and fishing, or while swimming or during freediving.
