There's no feeling like being Edward Hyde ~
Yen Press has licensed the Fate/Prototype: Fragments of Sky Silver manga for an official English release!
So Kara no Kyoukai only got one volume translated by Faust before it went bankrupt back in 2007, and since then no light novel series from Type-Moon was ever officially translated into English.
Not Fate/Zero despite its massively popular anime. Not Fate/Apocrypha when its anime aired. Idem for Lord El-Melloi Case Files. Not even Fate/strange Fake, which has been hyped since the OVA and whose popular anime just finished airing.
None of them. No cross promotional interest or anything.
Instead it's Fate/Prototype Fragments of Sky Silver, a series that ended in 2017, almost ten years ago now, and was a prequel to a work that doesn't actually exist except as a 10 minutes OVA. It never even got a manga adaptation until very recently.
But that's the first Type-Moon light novel series they are going with. Not that I'm not happy, just...utterly baffled.
It didn't end up coming into fruition, but these were my contributions to a Fate/Prototype sketch zine project. I don't know why I don't draw backgrounds more because I like drawing them. I really enjoyed making these! The zine was supposed to be landscape oriented, so the pages with Nigel and Brynhildr were supposed to connect. I put them side by side to give an idea of what it was supposed to look like!
