I am not immune to Pikuniku
I’m a firm believe that OC c Canon is fine as long as it’s not anything illegal. I know people get attached to characters and can become very emotionally attached to the point of sustain if they see their favorite character with anyone else. Reminder that it is fiction, it will not hurt you as it’s not real!
I love Gilgamesh a lot, so I’ll use him as the example here. I’ve grown attached to his character since my boyfriend introduced me to the Fate series. Gilgamesh’s existence and character helped me get through a break up of a three year relationship.
He gave me something to focus on other than heart ache and find a new passion for a character that’s not derived from children’s media. I was a huge Herobrine simp back in the day, still kinda am.
I’ve grown obsessed with Gilgamesh but I won’t let that blind me from the fact others enjoy him. People will love him just as much as I do for their own reasons. I don’t wanna see people tearing each other a part over stuff like this. Be mature about your character obsessions and remember we are all here to have fun!
Haven't watched it yet but, after seeing some responses from both sides i just wanna point out:
We can compare it to the original show!!!
They could've made something original, or something inspired. But this? It's an adaptation. It has the name Winx on it. Old fans are going to be the main audience. So we can criticize it for being a bad thing on its own AND we can criticize it for being a bad adaptation. We don't have to be nice to a bunch of corporative white dudes milking a franchise dry. If they really wanted to appeal to old and new fans, they would've given a smidge more of care to this dumpster fire.
Hmmm, eying the new GUDAGUDA 7 five-star, and so far I have come up with the following arguments for and against summoning:
Pros: She is an absolutely 100% perfectly normal tea enjoyer. Nothing suspicious at all. A perfectly fine and reasonable Servant. Do not ask why she is a Berserker class of Chaotic-Evil alignment, as there is nothing to be concerned about.
Cons: Probably a capitalist.
Golden boy evening
Yea is gil today
I said imma make shirou with a fade
But i forgot about that till i was making this
Anyway have a great day ya'll
FATE Rambles #1: Underrated Ashwatthama
I personally feel Ashwatthama is rather underrated all things considered, and is often outshined by the other Indian servants. While I do adore Karna, Arjuna, and Arjuna Alter, I feel like Ash deserves some attention too. The man's design is badass and extremely cool, which is a shame he has yet to get a figure (That or I just haven't been able to find one) when he looks like he was made to be an action figure. Makes me wish I had the know-how to sculpt 3D models and the money for a 3D printer so I could at least try to make my own.
Somedays I worry that I'm more in love with the idea of reading instead of reading itself now. I think it's because I don't have the same time I used to, the adventurous energy to lose myself in the world on the page. And I miss that. I miss the days where I'd get lost a novel and not emerge until the story was finished.
I miss it so much it hurts.
I finished the Scandinavian Lost Belt and its got me feeling a little different. Spoilers.
I'm just thinking about how much killing Ristuka and Mash have had to do in these Lost Belts. There was always kind of loopholes and stuff before. Like when you kill a servant, they're seervants. They're already dead and even if it's sad to say goodbye they're going up to the throne and possibly being summoned for more adventures. And Unless I happen to be forgetting a scene (please remind me if I am) before the lost belts they never actually had any blood on their hands.
The closest I can think of is when we were in old Japan with the Swordsmen and Ristuka had to sit in a bush quietly while a whole village was being killed off. That's seriously what I think is the darkest it could be for him.
Now he's actually killed Ivan the Terrible and Skadi and that final Valkyrie. These 3 didn't have the excuse of being servants they were actually living beings and we are directly responsible for ending them. Not to mention the entire civilizations that got erased. This is rough on me.
