If you go around FGO JP Twitter right now, there's a small chance you'll come across a relationship diagram about the Indian servants (it has over 12k likes anyway). Kind of sad because it seems to refer to Kunti as "cuckoo egg" (?) Pandu to gave birth the Pandavas but no one in the comments seems to be correcting it (I only saw some corrections in quotes)
I want to correct it too, but I don’t know much Japanese so I’m worried my words might get twisted or misunderstood. But if anyone really thinks that way, then it's a very, very, very big misunderstanding
Pandu knew Kunti has the ability to asked Devas for a child so he requested Kunti to do that (he even went out of his way to please Indra, hoping that Indra would grant him a powerful son — yep, Arjuna). It might sound complicated, but the epic explains it very, very (seriously, very) clearly. Even Pandu himself (also Dhritarashtra and Vidura) — was born of Vyasa, not Vichitravirya, yet he was still considered Vichitravirya's son as per rule
You can hate Kunti but don't give other wrong information (or headcanons), especially it litterly one of the basic things in the epic
The wrong relationship diagram is on the repost if anyone interested to see
