And there the Ruler stood -- outside of the woman’s door after that fiasco went down with the insults and what not. He didn’t know what was said, but..she’s been locked in her room longer than usual. 

With a knock to the door, he laid his palm against it gently and called out to her in a hushed tone. “Katherine -- open the door, please. I want to talk to you.” There was no response. Not a ‘go away’, not a ‘not right now’, not a ‘come in’, nothing. He did, however, hear a faint sniffle.

Dragging his hand off of her door, he rested his head against it now and let out a breath. “..I’ll be on the couch, please come out when you feel up to it.” Now, he went to the kitchen and did what he typically did for her -- prepared her dinner. It was a simple sandwich this time. Leaving it on the counter (in a plastic baggie), Amakusa approached the couch and sat on it, staring at nothing but the ceiling.

A persistent chill had clung to her all day, burrowing into her bones and taking up a new residence there. It made her feel like something bad was going to happen--or at the very least something not good. She was starting to get the hang of that sixth sense. Though she’d always had it, releasing Tenn had only strengthened those abilities. A blessing and a curse when it came to her new “job” of keeping the peace. She’d always wanted to be a chosen one, a magical girl...she just never expected it’d be like this.

But because of that chill, she’d been on edge all day, constantly on the look out for whatever her abilities were trying to warn her about. Tenn was nowhere to be found at the moment--but she knew he couldn’t be too far. He’d always show up if danger surfaced. She suspected it had something to do with the magatama mark--or maybe he just really loved fighting.

Of course, the poor girl had the misfortune of bumping into someone which resulted in a startled screaming tearing itself from her lips.

“O-Oh! S-sorry, that startled me...I-I wasn’t paying attention..” Why did it seem like the warning bells were only getting louder...?

This felt really familiar, waking up in a strange place. She really hoped she wasn’t going to be making a habit of this. Still, this definitely wasn’t Ylisse. Running a hand through her hair, she slowly sat up, peering around. “Well, Robin, where did you wake up this time..?” she murmured to herself. 

Of course, while it probably would help, she also knew better than to go shouting about and alerting probably every living soul in hearing distance to her presence. The last thing she wanted to do was draw enemy attention to herself. Then again, if this wasn’t Ylisse, that could make everyone a potential enemy. What a headache waiting to happen.

“At least my memory is intact this time.” 

Rising to her feet and dusting herself off, she paused, suddenly feeling as though she was no longer alone. “...Hello?” she offered uncertainly.

 “Ah, you come Inari-sama. You come~” Such a weird voice, even coming from his body. Its childish, kiddying and most of all, not suited for a man, no a god of his appearance. But being Hiruko...no... the god of luck himself. He has standards to meet. 

He does not meet them most of the time.

Red lights glowed through his mask, appreciating the bravery of the young girl, "to face the Reaper like that, how beautiful that is, would you be like that even if I was the Devil himself?"

He clawed at his mask. "My hatred, you wish to see? Alas, there is only one person that can ever be allowed to bear witness the full extent of it. Yes, it's a special gift for one that is loved by God. Gottlieb"

His body seemed to be engulfing in flames as he thought of something. The wildfire of rumors and slander, that burned the composer into a man-slayer demon, the heat of them maddening. He wouldn't even cry or shout, those flames that looked to be burning him were actually what made the shape of the vengeful revenant that appeared to the young girl.

…He was perplexed. He expected something else to happen when he was told to lay down by the flustered blueberry, but now he found himself laid out against his hood; his Master atop of his chest, what was she even thinking about doing? His question is answered quite fast, as she hesitantly (due to being flustered) began to kiss his forehead – followed by more kisses to his cheeks and pretty much all along his face. 

This was…NOT what he as anticipating – obviously he liked it, as his tail was swaying side to side against the floor. For the first time ever, his face had felt a strange sensation – it was burning, from her perspective he likely looked like a tomato right now. Seeing HIM become flustered only made her redden more, but she had also laughed just a little bit, so he gave a glare to shut her up. 

“..T-This isn’t funny, you moron. What the hell did you do to me?” 

..But, before she could really say that she didn’t do anything, he reached up to the back of her head and pulled her down. Now, she was laying on him, and he ended up nuzzling his head against the top of hers. Even to him, this was strange – he didn’t expect to feel this way simply by kisses to his face…but, he liked it…a lot. 

His tail ended up comedically plopping onto her back, not its full weight of course, but he did make sure to push her into him more with it; she had enough room to move around, but if she tried to get up, she would immediately fall back onto him. 

“…Give me more.” 

The bluenette’s eyes widened with surprise at his demand; her face once again finding heat streaming through it. But, she did so without hesitation, even if she was incredibly embarrassed. 

Yeah…he liked this, this felt nice..

Admittedly, the way she reacted -- putting her cheek to his chest, settling against him, pretty much ‘hugging’ him in a way -- it all took him by surprise. A very quick shock jolted down his spine, but he did his best not to show the slight surprise he had and instead gave a gentle stroke to the back of her head. “Don’t apologize, y’did nothing wrong. Whoever thought it was funny t’use that fear against you won’t get away just like that, either. I’ll handle it once you’re alright.” Although he wasn’t the strongest Heroic Spirit, he was one of the harder ones to face because of his cowardice methods -- so, having Robin Hood after you should typically be unnerving. 

Either way, no longer thinking about it, the Archer slowly helped her to her feet; entwining his fingers with hers to hold her hand as he did so. He wasn’t sure if she’d like it or not, but she seemed to want to be close...so it was worth a shot? “There’s a park a few miles away; you may not know of it, since I haven’t really seen you leave your room at all..but I’ve been occasionally feeding the birds there. I’m sure you’ll like it.” With that said, he led her to the door and opened it for her. 

..That OTHER ‘Servant’ was gonna be fine here alone, right? ..It’ll probably stalk them or something, but oh well.
