 It’s still HAUNTING him to his day.  It’s the traumatic memory which plagues his THOUGHTS. No. It wasn’t his FAULT. Not again.   That’s what he continued to break down and tell HIMSELF.  He wasn’t to blame for what happened to the woman. 

 And now? Now there had been the slightest chance that she was actually REMEMBERING him after all this time. DESPITE his stubbornness, despite  the REBELLION. She had been the mother he lost.  But there she now was. Out of the hospital and STANDING right in front of him.  That same proud expression which always made his skin crawl.

shigure is honestly not surprised. after everything that had happened to tohru , the womans DAUGHTER , that shigure had caused, allowed to happen, never STOPPED, he’s more surprised that it took the woman this long to pin him to anything and shake the life out of him. there’s a gentle laugh from his lips though, a smile still across pleased lips.        ‘    are you ANGRY, kyoko ?? that while your daughter was in my CARE she wasn’t watched by ANGELS ??    ‘        there’s a gentle scoff and the laugh returns, chest shaking with the sound.
