i’m keeping the same url here out of pure SPITE bc while i have well moved on from the drama of past days i do believe i am still a petty bitch. uwu catch ya’ll on the other side !!

Why do so many people talk about a significant age gap between Shigure and Akito like in the realm of Kyoko/Katsuya and Uo/Kureno? I always thought they only had a small age gap like HaruRin? I mean they're both in their 20's and adults... does it ever state in canon how much older Shigure is?

i’ll answer this one as i have the time for it -- akito is kagura’s age, so 18 to about 20. shigure is 26 to about 28. so while the gap is 8 years ( and i have known a few with this gap in real life ie my sister and her ex and my friend and her ex ) its definitely pushing some comfortable boundaries. but i think people also use the age gap as an excuse not to like the ship because its also a bit of an abusive and manipulating ship -- aka not a healthy one. so people talk about the age gap as a means to not like it some times.

just gunna gently throw this out there : my activity will be a bit slow in the mornings and laaaate at night. i say this because i’ve been trying to write ( i have 5 fics on the go and i’m dying ) so a lot of my roleplaying on and off tumblr has come to an abrupt halt. that being said if any of my mutuals want to yell at me they can ask for my personal tumblr as thats what my mobile is connected to again. <3

also, i am now on shift work which puts me on my 3pm to 1130pm shifts this week and next week i’m 7am to 330pm. my active hours will officially be a disaster.

Is Shigure actually a romantic at heart then?

complicated best reflects shigure really. i wish i could say he’s romantic but he only is to a fault. he’ll still spend a lot of his time not with his partner versus with them. he believes in personal space a little too much and some times thats just what happens with him. he’ll still kiss akito’s forehead or just sit on the step reading or smoking with hatori, but you won’t find him throwing himself over either of them.

What do you headcanon Shigure's orientation? Is he demisexual?

you are correct !! if that bond isn’t there then he’s not having it. he could in this sense fall for aya-chan too or even kureno as they were friends when younger -- but hatori was one of the few he grew close to as well as all his time spent with akito ofc.

In the canon manga though do you think. Shigure would still ultimately pick Hatori over Akito? :') :')

absolute 100% canon and none of my own portrayal in it ?? naw. he’d throw anyone under the bus for akito hands down. sorry ha-chan.

What was his first time with Akito like? How did he behave? Was he perverted as he always is?

not ... good ... i discussed this with @fatedgod back when the group was still a thing and uh .. it was not the greatest. shigure isn’t a gentle lover in bed, no matter who his partner is. there is the very odd time where he can be but his default is ... not so much.

If it really came down to it and he had to choose to save one or the other who would Shigure pick: Hatori or Akito? :')

they would both hate his decision : but hatori. hatori would tell shigure to pick akito. akito would say pick her. shigure would pick hatori though. i can’t even comprehend the thought process behind shigure picking hatori over akito here but it just feels right.

How does Shigure feel about casual sex? Were his stories that he told to Kyo about him and Ayame going to the Red-light district in high school true?

he’s not a fan honestly. its either an act of love with someone or he uses it to get what he needs. he went down there but i’m sure he more so just stuck around for aya, or he and aya just went down to say they did but did nothing. ( not to mention i hc that shigu and hatori had at least something back then.

hey. hey anon ?? hey nonnie ??? shigu is appalled by this. he’s actually fairly affectionate with the people he cares about, him and hatori are a lot closer and have smorched, but when you can’t openly show affection to the ones you want to it doesn’t work the same, right ??

Really? I actually find it surprising he was nice to Akito even before the Kureno incident cause he seems like the type of boy who'd pick on the girl he likes when he's at that age as a way of not knowing how to express affection. Y'know how they say boys at a certain age can only bully the girls they really like? I always thought that other than him being a Zodiac member and that specific flower scene, Akito always couldn't stand his guts cause he'd talk back to her.

he was a good small boy. just still as distant as he is now with everyone but akito. its complicated which isn’t surprising, as he puts on so many masks and acts to make the world the way he wants them to see himself. but akito is upset with shigure when he sleeps with her mother because as much as shes grumbly he’s never been THAT bad from her view.
