isn't 'diner lingo' just weird food slang that small diners have?? I thought that only happened in stereotypical movies tbh

Isn't it when a waitress calls back something really random to the cook and they totally understand it? The only example I can think of off the top of my head is adding "make it cry" to an order means add onions.

I just went through the exact same thing like six weeks ago, but all of your OB post are making me want to go back and watch it all again already!

It is amazing and I fully endorse going back and rewatching this show again and again. And then talking to me about it. Because I am overly excited and want to talk to everyone about everything Orphan Black related (up to episode 6).

I just stumbled across your fanfic tag post and just wanted to tell you how excited I am for the Veronica & Logan Much Ado About Nothing story! That sounds like a fabulous combination and I will definitely be keeping watch for it :)

Thank you for the encouragement! I’m really excited about it, too. It’s going to be this weird mashup of future fic and crossover because it takes the whole series as canon — the only AU part is what happens post series. 

Before I start I need to finish my never ending fic. I recently re-read Much Ado (twice) but still need to sit down with some of my theatre buddies and have long drawn out conversations about the arc of the play and what emotional moments I need to make sure to include. 

My beta seemed to like her first read and disdainfullady gave me some crazy helpful feedback on the second draft.

It’ll definitely be a departure from anything I’ve written before, that’s for sure!

I feel like I missed out on a lot of that type of thing not having any brothers. Plus my father has basically zero stereotypically male interests. No light sabers or video games or anything like that. The only time a football game (or sporting event of any kind) was on my tv growing up was on major holidays when my grandfather came over. So I'm hopelessly uniformed with all of that lol.

See I think part of it was that I thought my brother was the coolest thing ever and I wanted him to like me, so I would play whatever games he wanted me to play.

(it was also the reason that I donated ALL my barbie dolls when I was 9 because he told me that i would be cool if i got rid of my stupid girl toys and then he would play with me, but then once they were gone he was like 'jk you're still a girl - i don't wanna play with you' and i cried for weeks)
