Will sweeps his arms across the table of tomes, pages erupting from the piles. He wails in agony, digging his fingers into his hair, twisting the red around his knuckles as he screams. "Nega!" The soldier falls to his knees howling, slamming his shoulder into the desk - too heavy to budge. Minutes feeling like years. His arms go limp as his chest rises as falls in quick pace.

"I will never stop marching to reach you" his hands reach out to gather the papers /ABYSS NAVIGATION/ "In the middle of the hardest fight, it's true". A calloused palm runs down his face, clearing the tears from his vision and smearing against his jaw, nose wiping up his arm as he reached for more papers frantically.

"I will rescue you, oh I will rescue you"

He gathered more and began to look for the missing piece of their plan again.

Minera's voice cracks and shakes as she calls out after Drake. After decades of silence she let's her Siren Voice flow out to carry her song across the miles of valley. She knows he went to help Dreya, but doesn't understand why he left alone- just that it has to be this way for now, "I will," her voice raises, "send out an army to find you." Tears streaming as her throat strains, "In the middle of the darkest night." A sharp inhale of the crisp midnight air, "It's true, I will rescue you!" The wind carries her voice to him, a reassurance of her hidden affection and unyielding devotion to his causes as well.

Drawing idea

Will curled up with a dragon, DR coming to him, talking it out then hugging and saying sorry about their fucked up childhoods. DR inviting Minera in on the forgiving train so they can all move on. Little wary of Will and nervous about DR. They know her, they all work it out in the end. All of them cuddling with said dragon, brings Alyssum in to meet them as her people (formal(not proper per se) introductions are super important to Minera and Alyssum, it restructures things for them). End scene with everyone happy to meet each other and to finally be OK with each other again after a decade of bullshit and lifetimes of trauma.

DonRoss collects small animals to care for because he probably killed hundreds of animals with his gases,unintentionally, in the beginning when he was still discovering new mixtures.

Like he would pop knock-out gas but would have used a blend that critters in that area are allergic to or something, never finds out till someone points out to him that he should start a fur business with all those rabbits he killed with that last battle in the meadow.

DonRoss would sob for days.

Now he makes animal-friendly, people-deadly mixtures and is quick to use neutralizers in the area after a fight so nothing potentially toxic lingers.

His canisters also make a distinct sound when they burst/release to scare off most animals.

I wonder if it would be unsettling for Noct (@noctplayfultricks ) and Citrine to hear as well?
