Hi there! I saw that you've completed Mitsuhide Act 2. And I'm currently still ongoing w his route. Do you know what's the different in Destiny ending and Fates ending?

Hi! I’m going to attempt to be as non-spoilery as possible so… forgive the vagueness. 😂 The Destiny ending is more dramatic (I’ve played Shingen’s, Kenshin’s and Mitsuhide’s Destiny ends, but only Shingen’s Fates end, so I may not be 100% accurate here) and tragic, but there’s an additional (non-ticketed, iirc?) epilogue after the first epilogue that resolves things, and that can be replayed at any time since it’s saved to your memories. The fates ending is happier, and the game (I think… I couldn’t find it to double check) describes it as closer to what the divine endings are in act one! You get a portrait with both endings, rather than just the one.

Also, both of the destiny ends I’ve played, a chunk of it was from the samurai’s perspective. I can’t remember much of Shingen’s Fates ending (I played them one after another, too many lords ago to remember well 😂😂) to say if that’s the case there as well!
