Let's talk about self love. What are you doing to take care of yourself physically & mentally? 🧘 I've been doing a lot of yin yoga this year; not only has it helped reduce a lot of my regular aches and pains, but it's been a huge source of stress relief for me. Sort of like hitting a mental reset button. I've also been indulging in reading books that make me happy and help me escape my reality, and cutting back on (personal) social media. I know that last one seems little bit odd, given that I'm here on the 'gram quite often. But I hardly ever log into Facebook these days, and am scarce on my personal IG too, just for my own mental well- being right now. . . How do you show self-love? 🍑 I have been a curvy, plus-sized girl all of my adult life (and most of my teenage life), and there are definitely some days that are harder than others. But most of the time, I try to rock the bod I've got. Because my body does amazing things! So one way I always show my body love is putting it in beautiful clothes that make me feel good. "Dress for the body you've got" and all that. (And I am always here for plus-size shopping recs!) . . Anyway, all of this is to say that I am super pumped to be a #piqueambassador for THE (OTHER) F WORD anthology edited by @fatgirlreading & coming out September 24th from @piquebeyond.
