I love how Chains nails down parenting bits that most parents absolutely butcher like he has a conversation with locke basically telling him "your emotions are valid but silently pouting won't bring you anywhere. you have to communicate your feelings, and I can see you're struggling to find the vocabulary to do so yourself so let's try and figure it out together" all while getting wrong some pretty basic parenting stuff like uhh.. not regularly giving alcohol to your malnourished 7 year old
