“Mephisto?” Hugo asked carefully. The boy sounded like his son, but his aura was… wrong. It was dark, and messy. Evil. The hair on the back of Hugo’s neck stood up, but still he crouched down next to where he could sense him, catching a glimpse of green amidst the blur that was his vision. Yup, that was Mephisto alright, he’d know that colour anywhere. And since this was his son, he was going to help him, no matter what.

“Son, it’s okay. What are you muttering?” He gently placed a hand on Mephisto’s shoulder. “What happened to you?”
