“Someone after my deanery meeting today gave me a two foot tall growing fig tree… I currently live in a rental 2 bedroom apartment, and figured maybe you or Dad could plant it at the church.
Assuming, you want it. Since I have absolutely no room for it, or ground to plant it in.”
🌀 "Someone just gave you a tree? What in the Shiemi-"
"...figs are good though, so I'll keep it! Thanks! I'm gonna put it in my dorm room." Which is much smaller than a 2 bedroom apartment, as well as lacking dirt, but somehow logic isn't important to him (as usual). 🐈⬛
@father-yukio replied to you in a post “Father Yukio and the Christ Almighty…again…”:
He heard the door to his bedroom suddenly open. As far as he had known there was no one else in the apartment, and there him behold… his Dad with soup and tea. “Dad?” He questioned, granted it was under covers and likely a raspy voice from the sore throat. ‘The fuck did he find out where I currently live? Then again, he is a Paladin..likely knows how to extract information or interrogate for information, and he’s Dad..so he must therefore have supernatural Dad senses.’ So was Yukio’s train of inner thought as he looked at Shiro.
Supernatural senses, or an unhealthy obsession to keep tabs on everyone in his inner circle; To-may-toe, or to-mah-toe.
Either way, Yukio is sick, so Shiro is stepping into the role of a fussy, attentive father like he never even stepped out of it in the first place.
After setting the two thermoses down on the coffee table, Shiro shuffles over to his grown youngest and pats the figure laying in the heap of blankets, feeling out Yukio's position so he can better understand where the young man's head is at. "Do you have a fever?" He hums with concern before slowly slipping his hand under the covers. "Let me feel your forehead."
“I already admitted it to my Dad in this world. But compared to the Mephisto of my world you actually seem a bit—warmer and nicer.”
"HEE HEE HEE! Oh dear me, I can only imagine how Shiro took that. Frankly, I'm surprised you'd say that of any of my alternates- myself included."
@father-yukio replied to your post:
“I think—before you seriously think about swimming into the depths of the Mariana Trench, you should at least learn what species exists there. And you should sincerely ask yourself, if you can take the pressure and the cold.”
🌀 "Eh, sea creatures don't really scare me..."
"And I can handle cold just fine! Pressure shouldn't be too bad, right?" 🐈⬛
He's pretending to not see or hear any of this nonsense. Everyone has a guilty pleasure, after all. Shiro isn't immune to such desires.

“I thought it would be pink.”
"Were they to make a version of Hatsune Miku's sakura style, I would buy her up in a heartbeat! As it stands she's available solely in her original outfit and her snow outfit styles, the latter having had a release of merely 3000 units. Both, of course, grace my collection~"

"Feh.." It's sound reasoning, and Shiro would expect no less from his brilliant boy. Yukio was always a smart, crafty kid whenever he was given the chance to flex his greatest strength.
That being said, however, a deal with Mephisto - even while carefully thought out - is a risk Shiro isn't willing to play blindly, let alone sacrifice one of his children for. "We're fine. We don't need his interference. The less we deal with him, the better off we'll be."
