there's always some bullshit going on in the classic rock fandom
Who wants to hear a DIY tiling pro tip that the experts won't tell you
Yes!
Do not drop your phone into the bucket of tile adhesive. This step is actually completely unnecessary and massively complicates the tiling process.
@codenamejudas replied to your post âWhat kind of shark are you?â:
"Common misconception. You're actually very quiet, your mouth opens wide so you can swallow my ginormous co-"
âWith his hand firmly planted over Judas' mouth, Jaden cants his head downward and delivers a stern look to his beloved partner. "There are impressionable ears around. Don't."
You can't see it on account of the hand over his mouth, but you can tell by the way his eyes are crinkled that there's a smug grin happening beneath those hidden depths.
What are you reading rn, why are you reading it, and what format are you reading it in (physical book, ereader, on your phone etc)

Cyrus decides not to take the bait about the screaming comment. There's been quite enough of that around here already today. Besides, why is it that he is the only one who has the ability to take anything serious? It leaves so much for him to carry.
Well, at least Judas has decided not to argue, so that's one less thing to complain about. "Mmn, if you and your fellows are looking to explore other universes... hmm... they may find themselves a bit disappointed, depending on what they're looking for. It's mostly serial killers and sex bots out there, from what I've seen," Cyrus comments most unhelpfully. It's true as far as he's concerned - at least 90% of the people from other universes he has encountered has been someone obsessed with knives and stabbing other people, and/or obsessed with sex, neither of which he is even remotely interested in, so it's been quite disappointing to him.
"In any case, some of them do end up here and we've done all we can to put measures of safety in place. They aren't the only possible hazards, though. There are things outside that are dangerous, and I'd rather you not venture out there without an escort. Really, there isn't anything to worry about at the present. If there were, I would let you know," he explains. It's not exactly a lie. There are things in the Office that one could consider dangerous - it's just that Judas needs to avoid encountering them and provoking them, which shouldn't be a problem...
"If I promise to keep an eye out for these other portals from your home world that may open, will you promise to listen to me when I give you instructions and to trust that I am telling you as much for a reason? I will even play your music for you, if we have it. You mentioned before that you are also from... Earth? Or rather, from a universe parallel to ours?"
"Huh," is all that comes out of Judas while he processes Cyrus' words about this world's inhabitants. Considering the sheer amount of knives hidden on Judas' person (about seven, though most are novelty instead of functional) he might actually fit in better than expected. Though it also sounds like Judas is a lot more controlled when it comes to using them. Another smirk crosses his face. "Only stab-happy renegades and sex bots here? So which one are you?" he's teasing again.
"Yea, that'd help a lot. And if it helps on my end, I don't intend to run off unless it's, y'know, away from something. Can't leave or I might miss my ride back! Ha ha..." It's not the first time Judas has been displaced in the multiverse, technically this is the second. But the first time had been necessary, this time is out of sheer curiosity and they had results to log about its success!
"I wonder if anyone else from our side ended up here before. We've come pretty far with technology on our end of things, nothing wholly apocalyptic yet though. Er, no offence. I'm sure your world is...uh...was great? I mean, hey, it's still here so it's got that going for it. And now it's got me so it's twice as awesome as it was before. Oh yeah, what kinda tunes you got squirreled away in your hiding place?"
As much as I think it would be fun to have emotive anthropomorphic ears, I also recognize I can barely control my facial expressions. Like hell can I keep from Angry Ears-ing during meetings
This is who youâre having a meeting with, by the way.
tumblr is great and all but yaâll are missing the woman in one of my cat fb groups that has birthed her own tier 1 meme
It was a natural response of Oron to be at the ready, even if he had been living with the Junkyard bots for a little over a month now. However, he trusted Judas enough to lower his arm.
The truck's eyes lowered, glancing to the human's feet before they returned to the smaller one's eyes. "While we are struggling to wrap our heads around being on earth, we understand that you are not the organics that wronged us in our world. Besides, your earth still has organic material outside of life, we have been feasting upon that in order to keep us from getting hungry. All you have to worry about is the car, he likes to run over people for the fun of it."
"I'm aware that guy's a bit of a little prick." Oron grunted in response.
"Loud, too," as if Judas is in any position to judge there. "He was trying to rally my car into revolution or something. The other two seemed to be keeping him in line, more or less. Are you guys staying here or is this a temporary stop?"
đ Judas is 5'4"!
"Well, I think you can still kick ass, despite being nose to chest with me!"
"Can I sit on your shoulders so I can see at concerts."
forgot to post it here
Good. That's good that reassuring him that the ghosts aren't likely to harm him helps. The last thing he wants is for this pocket knifed weirdo to be running around the hallways panicking.
Likely. They aren't likely to harm him, that's the key here. Cyrus doesn't have any actual control over the ghosts in the Office, although what he says is true - they really aren't likely to harm him. However, two of the beings in the Office have a peculiar fixation on pencils, one of which is a monstrous ghost, the other who lives in computers and whose attention has likely been caught by now. The third likes to steal pencils and hoard them for no particular reason and most likely won't be violent about it, but the other two? They'll probably be belligerent at the very least, so Cyrus decides it's in everybody's best interest not to mention anything about the pencils going forward. He can only hope that the younger man - this Judas - forgets about them too and doesn't pick up on the nuance of what he's said.
"Judas, hmm? That wasn't so difficult, was it? Us exchanging names," Cyrus says, despite the fact that they didn't exchange names - Dorian was the one who gave his name to Judas and Judas just offered his freely.
A fact that he goes ahead and explains, "I might have felt inclined to give you mine earlier had you... not tried to stab the bloody walls. But, hhhhh... small steps, I'll take those."
"You wouldn't be the first 'mad man' we've had come into here, and I highly doubt you'll be the last," he adds, sounding tired. 'Which is why I approached you in the manner that I did, and why I don't make a habit of greeting visitors in person."
As if that's the sole reason, or even the real reason.
"As our dear Dorian has informed you, as you pointed out, all you needed to do was ask for whatever it was you needed, or wanted, and I could have given you an answer. Is this how you typically behave when you find yourself in an unfamiliar place, Judas? You start trying to... bully your way around? Because I assure you there are reasons for the way we do things around here, and none of it is to be a pain in anybody's arse. It is a matter of everybody's safety, including yours."
Judasâ mouth opens to argue, then flounders as he reconsiders. Thereâs no sense to them going around in conversational circles. Itâll keep him here longer and mean answers come slower. Heâll have to swallow his pride for the time being if he wants to get anywhere, literally and figuratively.
If this place served as some sort of dimensional travel focal point, then it made perfect sense that anyone or anything could end up here. If the same thing were happening in Judasâ universe, he wouldnât be coming up to shake hands with everything that popped in either. So he couldnât fault Cyrus there.
âUsually I scream a bit more, but then thereâs usually a decent amount of stuff to scream about. I could try more of that if it helps,â heâs teasing. Smiling even.
"Good news! The stuff I have to tell you guys might be less wild than everything you've told me about this place so far. Or at least, like, vaguely on par. I came here through a portal but opening that thing isn't...we haven't got it down to an exact science yet. So if they get it up and running again, chances are it won't open in precisely the same location. Was kiiiinda hoping to find the cameras you're looking at, if there's more than one, so I could keep an eye out for it. But you! You can do that for me too, yea? I mean, you're already there."
"You did mention, uh, safety? Should I be concerned?" He's wandering again. Not in a panic, and certainly not with any destination in mind, but it's likely clear even to those meeting him for the first time that staying still isn't something Judas is skilled at. "You know, I play part time with a Danger Danger cover band called Safety First, heh." Then, to fill his obligatory stupid question quota, "You guys have music in this universe, right?"
Ideal date? Can be platonic or romantic, I'm curious
"There's a place here where you can buy neon morpho suits and play glow in the dark mini putt in them, it's great! We could go do a fake photoshoot trying on clothes in them after too, like mannequins that have broken free from containment."
âIdeal dateâ for both lads
"It's gonna sound silly but I wanna go on, like, a classic fair date with you. Hold hands on the ferris wheel and spend the day eating dubious fair food. Plus I'd dominate you at the games. No mercy."
"I'm gonna save up to rent out the entirety of one of those kids play palace thingies so we can blast tunes and drop kick each other into the foam cube pit!"
