So... nobody has an issue about how Despair is literally the only fat character with any relevancy during the entirety of Sandman and that has continued to be the case even on the live action show? Like, I appreciate that at least now they gave her the dignity of wearing clothing instead of being naked exclusively like on the comics, but I thought that either they were going to let any of the other Endless to be fat or they were going to change that like, does anybody else find a problem that they decided to make the representation of Despair embodied by a fat woman? If at least there were other fat characters, or other fat women who are just vibing and living, then sure, but being that they took a lot care to put more non-white characters, they hired a non binary actor to play a non binary character and they normalized queer relationship like no fucking deal, it’s just fucking weird that when it comes to body types there wasn’t even an attempt and fatness is exclusively linked to one of the worst aspects of humanity. Like... come on, I can’t be the only person who is dissapointed on this aspect.
