🌸 Dainsleif gently puts a flower in Aether’s hair.

            𝒯he  touch  to  his  hair  is  ever  so  light,  Aether  almost  mistakes  it  for  just  the  wind.  The  Traveler’s  attention  is  drawn,  bright  gold  eyes  flickering  up  curiously  at  Dainsleif  before  he  cracks  a  toothy  smile.  He  hadn’t  known  the  man  for  very  long–  but  in  truth,  Aether  hadn’t  known  anyone  in  this  world  for  long.  But,  he  can  recognize  when  someone  is  desperate  for  connection,  maybe  this  is  how  Dainsleif  shows  it.  The  man  did  seem  to  harbor  a  kind  of  loneliness…  which  grew  heavy  in  the  air  surrounding  him,  filling  up  the  empty  spaces  between  his  words.  

                        Heh.  What  a  cryptic  guy.  

         ❝ You know, my Sister Lumine used to do that. She’d weave them into my braid if I dozed off, kinda out of retaliation. I’d always get annoyed about it when I woke up. --But I miss it now. ❞

               Something  twists  within  the  Traveler’s  chest,  a  hand  gently  lifting  to  press  gloved  fingers  to  the  spot  above  his  heart.  Ah.  It  kinda  hurts?

     IT was honestly amazing at how easily the other was able to say such .. cheesy lines with no hesitation. Moments like these were more than enough to catch the traveller and off-guard and well, colour him embarrassed, he supposed. Even he wouldn’t have the courage to say such a thing without flustering !

     But honestly, for someone who appeared to be so ... stoic, it was ironic to think about how sentimental Dainsleif was compared to most people. And one wouldn’t expect him to be so genuine with his feelings either. He couldn’t help but give a laugh in response to the Bough Keeper attempting to mimic what Aether had just done. Despite how serious the man was, he had such a soft side to him and he couldn’t help but find it utterly adorable.

     “ Seriously ... ahaha ... how do you have the courage to say that kind of thing without hesitation ? Well, not to say that I’m not happy but I’m sure if you said that to anyone else, they’d faint on the spot ! ”
