because telling aaron how much he’ll always love him is the final vow he can give and the one naked truth he wants to leave in the open to cement their everlasting love, to help aaron get through everyday without him, and as a solid reminder that no matter what happens, where this road leads them and whatever selfless decision robert makes next, he had him from day one and his heart always will
