The moon was full. The stars were out in abundance. A gentle breeze cooled the night summer air that enveloped the city of London. The soft clicking of heels against the cobblestone, the sound of a stray dog whimpering as it ran in the opposite direction of the girl that walked through the night. A petite frame, soft blonde ringlets that shaped her face, porcelain features, and a pair of pale green eyes. Her eyes flickered, looking for any poor soul she might stumble upon. She was unbearably hungry. A hunger she had never before experienced when she was human. She didn’t care who she found. Man, woman, adult, or child. She needed to feed. And there she saw him. An old, loud drunkard was had been tossed out of a closing pub. He stumbled as he walked, loud voice crying out useless and idiotic nothings. “Sir?” A musical and innocent voice escaped her pearl-pink lips. He turned and drew closer, his words slurring as his eyes ventured her body. It was quite obvious what he wanted. A pink hue stained her cheeks as she let her slender arms wrap around his neck, the stench of his breath filling her senses as her lips drew closer to his own. A piercing scream broke the silence of the night and his lifeless corpse crumpled to the ground. A sigh escaped her as she stared down into his empty eyes. “—Disgusting.”
