In Part Five of my ongoing Lovers of Aether Incorrect Quotes posts, I mention wanting to attempt taking my LoA textbox recreations to the next level and see if I had what it took to create full on LoA screencaps indistinguishable from the original. Anyone who knows how hard I strive for perfection in recreating something can guess that I, indeed, did have what it took! Naturally, I wanted a post showing off some examples of my own faux Lovers of Aether screencaps to have some sort of narrative to it, as to provide an excuse to write for its cast. This was easier said than done, though with enough pondering a ‘fundraiser’ prompt came to mind, and I got to work! Many screencaps later, we have an entire potential Lovers of Aether scenario that I wrote to be as close to the game’s writing style as possible! You can check it out below the ‘keep reading’, though I must warn you that this is a particularly long post. I had to string a whole bunch of the screencaps together because I didn’t want to spend a long while uploading each one individually (Or surpassing the image limit in a post). Through trial and error, I managed to get them all into one post, and if need be, you can always open the images in a new tab (Or save them to your device if you’re on mobile) to get a better look at them!

Perhaps in the future, I can make a few Lovers of Aether incorrect quotes using this style of presentation as this was quite the fun experiment! I hope you enjoyed it all because this certainly won’t be the last of it!

Not because of getting all of the assets I needed but moreso writing the dialogue #Plus you'll notice that when a character talks the scene dims so I also had to account for that too #You might be wondering 'Why does everyone have their respective character art still except for Psycha?'#Well... the main reason isn't because one doesn't exist #But more because whenever the player talks in Lovers of Aether the scene doesn't dim and there's no stand-in art for them.#Accuracy + 2000 #Real talk this was R E A L L Y fun to make.#On my Medibang file I used to make this I have LOADS of backgrounds to use for future faux screencaps #Some from in-game and some that aren't but look pretty darn close to Lovers of Aether's visual style!#Like a library! I think I ought to make another original scenario utilizing that background #As well as including some characters I didn't get to include in this post. Forsburn'll DEFINITELY be in it.#I'm brimming with ideas already!#Also yes I headcanon Orcane's last name to be 'Waveson'. I've given all twelve rivals last names though Waveson is pretty clever
