Hmm. Well, I think Earl likes to get up early and maybe go on runs around town, and he really likes to read biographies and stuff (I don’t know where that came from, I just think he’d like biographies?) Also I think he does wood carvings like Cecil does. And he probably whittles. It relaxes him. Also, he has a lucky charm, that he keeps in his pocket whenever he goes somewhere, and he likes to just hold it sometimes when he’s walking around. It’s probably an old coin or something like that, and he probably found it in the woods or somewhere like that, but good things happen when he has it, so it’s a lucky charm. Also, I think he’s a really big worrier. He’s protective over everyone who’s close to them, so if they’re not well or something could happen to them, he worries, and when he worries, he picks at his nails. Cecil yells at him everytime they have manicure night because his nails are all uneven and like picked off.

Alright we’re gonna start with Carlos because he’s my absolute fav! So, I don’t think Carlos really started talking at the usual age. I think he started talking when he was about 3 or so, and then once he started, he just didn’t stop! I see him as an only child and maybe not with a lot of friends as he was growing up :^( so whenever he had the opportunity, he’d talk to whoever was around, whether it was a cashier or a teacher or anyone, really! He’d always have something to say to strike up a conversation, and he was really outgoing!

And now there’s Earl, who I think had a large family, actually! I think he had a mom, and then an older brother and older sister, and a young brother and younger sister, which would make him the middle child of 5. It would bother him a lot when he’d get compared to one of his sisters or brothers, though, because he really wanted people to see him as his own person! So he put a lot of work into being a really good Scout, because Scouts was the one place where he could do something without someone comparing him to his siblings. I think he was also pretty competitive, and he probably got down on himself whenever he didn’t earn a badge or something like that, because he really did want to be the best Scout he could be so that people would recognize him as an individual and not just one of the Harlan kids.

My sister made me go on a mile run with her so think of Earl Harlan urging Cecil and Carlos to run with him. "Come on guys almost done! Only three more miles!!" *both Cecil and Carlos groan* -A

I feel like Cecil would be half on-board with this because he’d get to pick out the most outrageous sports clothes to run in and Carlos would... probably be less into it bc it’s probably early in the morning and Carlos likes to sleep in as much as he can before work

Random Headcanon: I don’t think Earl gets stressed often, because you know, being Scoutmaster is really stressful so he sort of got used to it! But when he does get stressed, which is really rarely, it gets reaaally bad and it takes him a while to calm down, my sweet baby. He probably will go camping for a night and figure out what he’s going to do and then relax before he comes home. 

General Opinion over said character: what a sweetheart? Earl is so sweet and caring and just??? I love him
