Favorite Official Engagement from each year of The Duchess of Cambridge’s Royal Years  → “In Kind Direct” Charity Event at Clarence House on October 26, 2011.

This is my favorite engagement from 2011 because this was Catherine’s first solo engagement since becoming The Duchess of Cambridge. She stepped in for Prince Charles, who was unable to attend the event due to a last minute schedule conflict, and she was a natural. I was, and still am, so proud of her and she does such an amazing job doing solo engagements. I’m sure it was very nerve-wracking for her, but she seemed very calm and collected!

Favorite Official Engagement from each year of The Duchess of Cambridge’s Royal Years  → Visiting Oxford Spires Academy & Rose Hill Primary School in aid of The Art Room on February 21, 2012.

This is my favorite engagement from 2012 because this was Catherine’s first engagement since becoming Royal Patron of The Art Room in January 2012. I love when she does an engagement involving children. She has such a way with youth and the children enjoy her visits! I hope she does more engagements with/involving The Art Room!
