update: i found one alternative on the weheartit subreddit called favim

good things

it’s relatively similar to weheartit.

they have more aesthetics than i expected

some things i don’t like:

unlike whi, all the pics u like/save have to be put into collections(aka sets) instead of having the choice of a gallery w/ collections. if u don’t put them in a set, they won’t show up.

there are no articles

as far as i can tell there isn’t a way to search for sets which is kinda annoying.

i think u can upload ur own pics but i haven’t been able to figure it out.

u can’t upload ur own pfp.

the only gender options are “woman and man” when ur making ur account and

u can’t make a bio

i can’t find a way to follow other ppl.

there isn’t an app.

final thoughts

despite the cons outweighing the pros, i still think it’s worth trying out but i hope there will be better options in the future.
