Okay so my Sesshomaru figurine came in and I got to unpack it on Thursday, and here is the box,

(It's not even crazy uncensored, as its pelvic area just has a slot for its special accessories, but I'm not risking anything.)

I really like the sculpt and paint job on this. From my quick check of it, mine didn't come with any imperfections. The box itself did get damaged on the other side, but it's nothing major! I'm also glad that I went with the more realistic face to fit the rest of design, although I do wish its lips had been molded a lil more differently. But whatevs, it's fine.

Me being me, though, I would've extra liked it if there was a pelvic insert that gave it more of a Ken doll body. Just smoothed out, but also allowing that area to be filled in. After all, I won't use any of its special accessories, since I like the simple look of its waist being wrapped up. It's an 18+ fig, yeah, but I don't want it for 18+ reasons.

Next, I'd like to find one of Sesshomaru in his usual outfit. Maybe with his denom form in the background or something? Or two separates of both forms. 🧐🧐🧐

Really gotta stop going for ⅙-scale figs, though, the boxes are huge...

Y'all, I'm officially officially a figure collector. 😭😭😭🥺🥺🥺

It's so perfect!!!!!

And super easy to assemble! The coolest part for me is that the body attaches to the base magnetically, so v secure and smooth!

I was actually gonna keep it in the box (which was HUGE, btw, with tons of great padding and protection), but then was like, no, let me assemble it to see if anything's missing. And after I clicked in all the pieces, I just...couldn't bear to take it apart and put it back there...

The detail is INCREDIBLE. I love how the hair has fly aways—and was so shocked to see that there were even earrings! The paint is also really well done. Look at the eyebrows! And the textures?!?! Ugh, FAB!

I genuinely could not ask for a better experience for my first figure. And I'm so shocked that it came before my Law one because I paid off Law first! And both of them are under standard shipping cuz DHL was wayyy too $$$ for me to swing it this time around. 🤧 Especially with some many purchases in such close succession.

Beyond obsessed. And now I'm extra excited to get other pieces.

—Just gotta figure out where I'm gonna put all of the boxes cuz I really do wanna keep those. 😅😅

EEEEEK, I did it omg omg I put down a deposit on the Sesshomaru and Uzui figurines from before...! 😳😳😳

The Uzui figurine is estimated to be delivered around December, and Sesshomaru in 2023.

I was gonna wait til next week, but...nerves. Even though the Sesshomaru one is LITERALLY on an early bird pre-order sale for the next two days (which I hope means the remainder I'll pay when it almost ships will also follow said sale guidelines), I just !!! 😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫

I haven't been this terrified/excited about something I've ordered since my first alternative style necklace from SANDYTABOO.

—And now I've got til at least December to come up with a way to properly store these til I have the space to put them on display.

(Also went with deposits instead of paying in full since this is my first time ever doing this. And in case I decide to pull out, I don't wanna be on the hook for $500+.)

I'm beyond tempted at tapping in with a pre-order deposit, especially since it's on sale. (Deposit at $76.99 USD, full price at $307.99 USD.)

BUT, I wouldn't have room to display it now, which is genuinely a problem. As much as collectors love "mint condition"/never opened products with their boxes still perfectly sealed, the figurine itself does not. Been learning recently about how the lack of air exposure can degrade the resin, and make it sticky, compromising the entire composition.

And given that I'd have to keep it under wraps for about a year or two. >.<

Ugh, but I want it so so bad. Ponytail Sesshomaru. 🥺🥺🥺 Would def want the realistic face with the lower bangs, too...
