The Scottish Baobhan Sith

The Baobhan Sith, in Scottish folklore, were said to be vampiric fairy women who appeared as beautiful women dressed in green.

They lured hunters and travelers into dancing, only to drain their blood. Their beauty concealed a deadly nature, making them one of the darker spirits of the Highlands.

All sorts of creatures, but I especially love any kind of bat!

Australian Ghost Bats have a special place in my heart. Just look at these membranes!!!

Honduran White Bats live in lil leaf tents, plus they are adorable!

In terms of non-bats, the golden mole--fluffy golden potatoes attuned to sound vibrations, need I say more?

And the snow leopard--elegant, silent, mysterious, and when they move they're like liquid

My list of favorite animals would not be complete without a nocturnal, ground-dwelling parrot (kakapo!)

And my spirit creature, the moss piglet (aka tardigrade aka water bear)

My Top 11 Favorite Creatures

I love horror and fantasy, so it should come as no surprise that I have a bit of a thing for Creature Features! A lot of my favorite creatures are humanoid (because I find humans to be much scarier than any beast tbh), but I think giant monsters and magical creatures are cool as hell too! Happy Halloween!!

The world & universe is full of different creatures we may or may not have seen before. & the one's I'm showing are my Top ten favorite beasts of nature.

Combining all my favorite animals Challenge!

First my four favorite animals, some more specific than others.

1. Rabbits

2. Maned wolf

3. Moths

4. Goldfish

Now the parts I'd combine from each:

The head, nose, and ears of the rabbit.

The legs, body, teeth, and tail of the maned wolf.

The eyes and wings of a moth. Except I'd put the month's wings on the back of the paws.

And finally, the scales of a goldfish glistening across the creatures back and tail. More like a pangolin or snake, not built for water.

As for colors I personally think heather for most of the fur, with dusty patches of white around the eyes and tail, and a beige sort of color along the paws. The scales, claws, and teeth are mint green. As for the ankles I would use the Granny's cloak month's wings.

I'd name him Pountine and he'd wear a strawberry shaped bottle necklace full of fluffy slime. His ears are studded with earrings and his right ear always flops down. On his back left leg he keeps a dagger in a sheath.

If he wants to be fancy he'll tie a balloon to his tail and pull on stretchy 80's exercise bands.

Congratulations on the Sluagh! Besides your creature, what's your favorite teen wolf creature?

Oh, that’s a tough one!

In terms of design, I love Kate Argent’s Werejaguar form, the Berserker (bound in all those bones and leather is creepy but beautiful), and the Kanima as I love all reptiles, especially snakes.

BUT, my top favorite, as I’ve had an affinity for wolves since I was a young child, would be the werewolf.
