Hi! I loved your IMMEDIATE vindication in the episode and laughed so, so hard. I've been sent that clip now by eight different people, because I'm well known as an absolute fountain pen obsessive, and used to be an "Admink" for a large Facebook group of fountain pen lovers.

My question to you is this; obviously, this is like asking a parent to pick their favourite child, but what is your present favourite ink and pen combo? I'm usually a vintage pen lover and always keep my Parker 180 inked with Diamine Lavender, but I'm presently adoring my Jinhao 10 retractable inked with Diamine Autumn Oak.

I actually love the question of favorite ink/pen combo! I find that Diamine Aurora Borealis fits my Pelikan M805 Ocean Swirl incredibly well, so that is probably my most-used combo.

But to give some other examples, Diamine Purple Dream in my purple Sailor Pro Gear (don't remember the specific colorway, I wanna say Wicked Witch?) I also have a pastel pink Lamy Scala that pairs excellently with Iroshizuku Hana-Ikada.

This is Chaos Egg! He’s my beast OC. It’s the beast of Chaos and his animalistic traits are based on snowleopards and it lives on a mountain valley in beast yeast. He was originally known as ‘bringer of art’ before corrupting and losing the ability to feel joy from most anything except Chaos and adrenaline. At the end of the day, it doesn’t want to hurt anyone, but if there’s a chance to cause chaos (and thereby prolong his will to live), well… he’ll do ANYTHING

I've had this Platinum Preppy fountain pen for 7 hours and if something happens to it I'm killing everyone. No "and myself"s, this will be a problem for all y'all I'll be having enough problems already

Writing Tip

If you get stuck on a part of whatever you are writing; instead of just staring at a blank Google Doc page. Switch things up and write down some ideas in a notebook using your favorite pen to switch things up.

Favorite Pen

So Alice is, of course, working with Nightmare, and right here, Nightmare is asking Alice to help find his favorite pen. It's disappeared somewhere.

Pffffft. Classic Nightmare. XD Asking help for such a little thing. Just like him to be attached to a specific pen, too. I can relate, though.

This is a pen. It was a gift from my friend Lori. I’ve had it for... maybe a year already. It is so beautiful that I couldn’t get myself to use it until a month ago. Now, it is my most favorite thing in the whole wide world ever! Yes, that’s sort of extreme. But it is such a perfect pen, and for someone like me who writes A LOT that is an amazing find. So, thank you to Lori. This solid, unique, heavy, comfy, lovely pen makes writing even more wonderful. I hope to never not use something because I think it is too beautiful in my life again. Use the beautiful things. Enjoy the special things. Relish the fine things. The things, and we, will only be around for a short time — the grass of the field, and in the blink of an eye...

Miss Anthology crew member Jay uses both a highlighter and a non-photo blue pencil before inking! The highlighter is great for loose, gestural forms with small details added with the non-photo blue pencil. The ink lays nicely atop both, and doesn’t appear when you scan as a bitmap or text document!
