The Live Stage reading of "What We Need" from Scandusical, the Scandal Musical written by Favouredwiles.
Or as I liked to call it Respectability Politics 101. Everything that was sung in the song has been heard over and over again (by more than just "Mad Black Women" mind you). And pretty much all of these critiques are off base. Black women are human too. And some humans are good, some humans are highly competent and respected. Some humans do bad things. They make mistakes. That's what makes things interesting.
