Recs are listed in the order they were posted on the Discord; the order does not imply any sort of ranking.

The pairing given in this list is the main pairing of each respective fic – please read the tags for any possible minor or side-pairings, as well as any potential warnings or triggers.

Pairings and Eras are given as tagged in each respective fic. (?) signifies that the tags were unclear and I do not know enough about the fic to fill the gaps.

Round-ups are compiled on the weekend of the week after the respective theme of the post (when the new theme has already been anounced), to avoid omitting potentially belated FF recs.

Day 5 - Loss: Favourite Ending

The Prank was Foiled

Is this a bit of a cop-out for my favourite ending? Probably. Do I care? No! These kids all deserve life and happiness, so gosh darn it I am going to give it to them!

The snow was falling thick and heavy as Beth stared out of the lodge kitchen window into the darkness of the mountain. She didn’t know what, but there was something off, something that didn’t feel right.

Was there someone outside or was it the whispers coming from the other side of the kitchen that were setting her teeth on edge?

She squinted through the slats of the blinds trying to see but then her ears picked up her sister’s name.

Instead of focusing on the creepy shadow that may or may not be there Beth chose instead to listen carefully to the conversation going on behind her.

“I’m just looking out for my girl Em,” she heard Jess’ voice.

Beth heard the creak of the door and footsteps as they moved to leave the room. It even sounded like Jess and Emily were skipping. Who fucking skips past the age of twelve? Usually if the popular girls were that happy, it meant trouble.

“Just because he’s class Prez doesn’t mean he belongs to everyone…” Emily’s voice became too faint to hear once they’d left the room.

Beth immediately turned around to see Sam quickly heading out after them.

“Sam?” She called.

“What?” Sam looked flustered when she turned toward Beth.

“What’s going on?” Beth frowned, moving around the kitchen island.

“There’s no time,” Sam shook her head, “I’ve got to find Hannah.”

“Why?”

“They’re all planning a prank on Hannah because of her crush on Mike.”

“Oh my god!” Beth sighed, “assholes,” she muttered under her breath.

Boy did she know about Hannah’s massive crush on Mike. She’d had to listen to that shit day in and day out for years now. And yes, Mike was technically taken because of his on-again off-again relationship with Emily, but that didn’t mean Hannah deserved whatever cruel prank the others were planning.

“We’ve got to find her before it happens, they invited her to the guest room for 2.00am!”

Beth nodded, checking the time, “shit! We don’t have much time.”

“That’s what I was saying,” Sam grabbed Beth’s arm, dragging her out of the kitchen.

“You go downstairs, I’ll check upstairs,” Sam suggested breathlessly before taking off, running up the staircase, “Hannah!” she yelled.

“But…” Beth called after her but she was already gone, “fuck!” Beth muttered. Why was it always up top her to clean up other people’s messes?

She marched directly downstairs, along the corridor and yanked open the door of the guest room.

She stormed in, glaring at Mike who was standing in the middle of the room, “care to explain yourself?”

“Oh come on Beth,” Mike pulled one of his charming smiles, “we’re just messing around.”

“No, this game or prank or whatever it is you’re doing, is over, right now! You’ve been dicks all weekend long and I’m putting a stop to it,” Beth crossed her arms.

There were footsteps coming down the corridor, “Mike?” Hannah entered the room holding a candle. Then she spotted Beth, “what are you doing here?” She frowned at her sister.

“I’m telling these assholes to back the fuck off.”

“Assholes?”

“The rest of you come out, and be ashamed of yourselves.”

Slowly, one by one, each of the pranksters emerged from their hiding spots, some looking more guilty than others.

“W-what’s going on?” Hannah’s eyes filled with tears behind her glasses as she took in the presence of the others.

“Hannah!” Sam burst into the room.

“Oh my god! Sam!” Hannah couldn’t hold back her sobs.

“Hannah, hey, honey, come here,” Sam pulled Hannah into a hug.

“Take Hannah upstairs, I’ve got this,” Beth glared at each culprit individually.

Sam gently ushered the weeping Hannah out of the room.

Once they’d left, Beth spoke up, “right,” she put her hands on her hips, “this is my family’s lodge so I’m presenting each of you with a choice. Either, you offer Hannah a heartfelt apology and if she accepts you can stay or you pack your bags and you’re out of here first thing in the morning, no hangover excuses. Capeesh?”

No one said anything but a couple of them nodded. Beth nodded back, turned around and marched out of the room to go find Sam and Hannah.

She had the odd feeling that she’d just saved the weekend from being a complete disaster.

FMA 03 Month Day 7 - Favourite Opening/Ending

Favourite Opening? Simple; my favourite is Rewrite, with Ready Steady Go as a close second.

Favourite Ending? That one’s a bit tricky.

I like them all, but in terms of ranking them? I’ve never actually done that. So for now, I think I’ll go with the last ending; I Will.

Anyway, I really like Kuroko's voice actor so that's why Kuroko can also sing in my fics (though he's kind of shy about it and it's not something he's very interested in.) In my headcanon he got it from his dad.
