the one place they sometimes end up falling asleep — where they’re not supposed to
Frisk tends to fall asleep on friends and family members a lot. not so much a problem for the adults, who can just pick them up and carry them around when they have other things to do, but Chara and Asriel do encounter a slight problem sometimes when they suddenly have a grubby baby sibling snoozing on them with no way to escape that doesn’t involve waking the poor thing.
Chara tends to demonstratively fall asleep if someone tries to make them do something they don’t want to, like Frisk and Asriel trying to drag them into doing homework with them. they’ll just sit back and fall asleep on the spot. they feel like it gets the message across.
the game they’d destroy everyone else at
Frisk isn’t very good at video games, but they’re better at those cute little 2D phone games than most people. Chara is, quite fittingly, rather good at fighting games. neither of them come close to Asriel’s video game skills though.
the emoticon they’d use most often
Frisk has a lot of long conversations with Napstablook that consist entirely of emoticons. they use sparkles, rainbows and suns a lot. Chara naturally has a tendency to go for =) and it always means trouble. a lot of the messages they send to their family members also come with hearts attached though.
what they act like when they haven’t had enough sleep
Frisk gets sad and a little sensitive and they need a lot of hugs and reassurance. Chara gets cranky and a little mean and generally tries to make themself look tough to compensate for the feeling of being weaker than normal. luckily, they’re rarely sleep-deprived at the same time, and they’re good at taking care of each other when one of them needs a little more care and understanding than normal.
their preferred hot beverage on really cold nights. or mornings. or whenever.
they both love golden flower tea, and Chara also naturally loves hot chocolate. Frisk sometimes gets a glass of warm milk before bed when they feel like they might have trouble falling asleep that night.
how they like to comfort/care for themselves when they’re in a slump
Frisk isn’t very good at self-care, but they’re good at seeking out people who can help them. Toriel and Asgore are their go-to people for comfort, those two can always guide them to a calmer, happier mental space. they mostly go to Toriel when they’re sad and want to be protected, and they go to Asgore when they’re stressed out and need to talk to someone about their problems.
Chara reads a lot, primarily high fantasy and the occasional science fiction, and they can easily pass an afternoon just reading in their room and drinking tea and forgetting about their problems for a little bit. it’s good for them to be distracted sometimes.
what they wanted to be when they grew up
before their fall, Frisk was the kind of kid who had a new life dream every other week and it was always something completely unachievable, like being the first astronaut on Mars or similar. after they free the monsters, there’s no job they’d rather have than be everyone’s ambassador.
Chara never wanted to be anything before their fall. they could never imagine a future they wanted. after their fall and resurrection, they’re quite content with growing up in the shadow of their ambassador sibling and king-to-be sibling, though. simply getting to be a part of the royal family is all they want, regardless of what responsibilities they’ll have to take on in the future.
their favorite kind of weather
Frisk loves hot summer days where they can play outside all day without getting cold, but they also love fall and all the crinkly leaves. Chara prefers fall and spring, preferably when it’s not so hot that they can’t go outside without sunscreen, but also not so cold that they have to wear a coat out. they get sunburned and cold easily, going outside is generally not a nice time for them.
thoughts on their singing voice (decent? terrible? soprano? alto?)
Frisk has a croaky little crow voice and though they can hit the notes just fine, their lack of experience with vocal communication makes it hard for them to put any power into their voice. Chara has an incredibly angelic singing voice, though - it’s bright, soft and chirpy like a songbird’s, and they’ve always been a talented singer. they refuse to use their abilities for anything but vaguely unsettling songs about vengeance and death, however, for their own personal reasons. they even resent karaoke machines trying to tell them what to do. they get really petty about it, and super satisfied whenever they succeed in creeping someone out with their unusual song choices.
how/what they like to draw or doodle
Frisk doodles a lot of hearts in tribute to the six human souls. it’s just become a habit for them to draw hearts over and over. Chara consistently draws nice things normally, but when they’re just doodling without using much brain power for it, their art tends to go in the direction of stick figures going through morbid scenarios. they try to hide this from people whose opinions of them they care about, especially Frisk and Asriel.
