The other slow line burn that wrecked me was the one about Cassian making a soft noise in his throat while sleeping and Jyn wondering if he would make it while awake and had to remind herself they are in the death star.

Haha, I’d forgotten that one! 

I’ll say that, as the author, I got the biggest kick out of writing Jyn’s reaction to Cassian arranging her Imperial jacket + Cassian short-circuiting when she shakes out her hair! But the alternating denial and aghhhhh is fun all the way through :D

i feel like it has to be between yavin and jedha because i don't think she's wearing it or has anything like it on wobani?

i kind of like to imagine she's digging through lost and found with cassian's terse "it's a cold desert" ringing in her ears and she's eyerolling to herself as she picks out a vest and a scarf and is like "yep, i'm good"

She gets the scarf on Yavin IV. Presumably wherever she also gets the coat. I want the coat to be a smaller/older one of Cassian's.

Thanks, everyone! I thought she didn’t have it, but I wasn’t sure and not currently able to check. I now have the enormous delight of imagining the whole sequence of events that could lead to Jyn Erso and the Most Extra Cat Rescue Ever between Yavin and Jedha.
