We've worked a few disaster zones - Sendai, Fukushima, etc. - but it is a bit strange seeing the SDF teams parked outside your own house doing water and electricity isolation checks.

Emergency Relief
Too many stories to tell of everyone helping each other, but just glad we're in Boso Hanto - hand pumping gasoline, filling radiators with well water, and talking to SDF teams. We even had two teams of volunteers visit the minka, but turned them away to others in need.

Nella prefettura di Chiba erano stati emessi ordini di evacuazione per almeno duemila residenti, mentre altre 400mila persone nell'area metropolitana di Tokyo e la prefettura di Shizuoka erano in preallarme.
