what i found while surveying! Alder leaf beetles, deer leg, spine, and hoof, small skipper, silver spotted skipper, many bumblebee types, meadow brown! so many meadow browns!!! and pheasant feathers
guyssss i have been added to the habitat monitoring team!!!!!! i am SO excited !!! i may be starting TOMORROW as well!!! yayayaayayayayayaaaayayya and i can meet people and get contacts and experience and everything!!!

Notable species from surveying today
left to right, top to bottom. Eurasian linnet, barn swallow, meadow brown, large skipper, swollen thighed flower beetle, pellucid fly, SOME kind of moth, reed bunting!
I also saw what could be a harvest mouse nest, though i need a bit more expertise for that !
