I advertised that SOUND OF FREEDOM was starting in TOWNSVILLE on 24 August in a fb group called Everything Townsville. The usual trolls attached themselves to my post and started in on me. No biggie. The group has the usual BS rules about "be kind, no bullying, etc" . Which are all fine and dandy, when it suits them. Anyhoo, I got suspended bc Christopher Hannan called ME a tin foil hat and a C***! I tried to contact the listed "administration" to complain. One you can't communicate with and fuknose what will happen with the other one. For the SECOND time, the comments have been turned off on my post trying to advertise THIS film. 🤔 Granted, it MIGHT be to reduce arguments, but I'm starting to think the administrators of this group are just a bit too invested in CENSORSHIP of ideas and should limit themselves to running their group a little better. 🤷♀️ This highlights one of the huge problems with fb.......though groups are nice; the administrators and moderators can be problematic. If you get morons or cliques [and I'm very aware of these from my days as a moderator in a dog group] the group can be paralysed or allowed to become toxic, as has happened to Everything Townsville. S.O.F. cannot be discussed in this group any longer and I lay that squarely at the feet of the administrators. They have allowed the tone of the group to be set to "loud and proudly redneck and ignorant."
