okay, i've got a bit of an idea for the fb&wg art/writing challenge formatting. please do not vote until you've ready the below propaganda.

Art challenge classic is just daily prompts with a few free days, what I'd assume most people are used to doing.

My idea is dividing the prompts by which of the fb&wg games/temple they're related to, allowing the participant to mix and match. No set order to them. Each temple will have a free day. There are six of them, 30 days in November, so 4 prompts per temple excluding free days. That's roughly 24 prompts total.

There'll be the same amount of free days regardless.

so I don't really wanna just drop off, but my hyperfix on fireboy and Watergirl absolutely has. ik that I said i'd try to do at least 90% of the art challenge I made, but I'm also not for forcing myself to do things. i'll likely do a few prompts if the ideas return to me, but the inspiration left before it could really do me any good. i'll still be checking the tags, likely every few days since I'm not really expecting that many participants to flood in from my small account. have a good time, everybody. I'll be cheering y'all on from the bleachers.

how would y'all feel about a fireboy and watergirl art and writing month for the first game's 15 year anniversary? the closest we got to an exact release date is November '09 so it'd make sense. still gonna make, share, and complete at least 90% of it regardless. I wanna make all the prompts both artist- and writer-friendly so most of the creatives who wanna participate can do so. also gives me a second good reason to boycott nanowrimo. was originally just gonna say f u to the official platform but honestly, after some thought, the allowing ai works thing is so bs that i'm doubling down.
